MCP for engineering teams

Your team's stack, in their AI.
Under your control.

Every engineer wants Jira, GitHub, and Linear inside Claude and Cursor. Without a gateway, each one wires personal tokens into personal configs with zero oversight. gate gives the whole team the same governed setup: one URL, role-based access, approvals for sensitive actions, and a log of everything.

The problem

AI tool access is becoming your next shadow IT

The tools are already connected to AI — just not by you.

Everyone wires their own

Each engineer pastes personal tokens into personal configs. Nobody knows who can do what, and offboarding misses all of it.

Write access with no review

An AI with a Jira token can close tickets; one with a GitHub token can touch code. Without policies, that's one prompt injection away from happening.

Zero audit trail

When a ticket changes and nobody did it, 'the AI did it' is not an answer your postmortem can use.

Why gate

One gateway for the whole team

Connect the stack once, govern it in one place, and give every engineer the same safe setup.

Team access

Roles instead of shared tokens

Connect Jira, GitHub, and Linear once. Each team member gets access through their own login — owner, admin, or member — and loses it in one click when they leave.

  • Per-member access via roles
  • Instant offboarding
  • No personal tokens scattered across laptops
Policies

Decide what AI may do to your issue tracker

Allow reads, require approval for writes, block deletes — per tool and per AI client. Claude can read the backlog for everyone; closing tickets can require a human yes.

  • Allow, ask, or block on every tool
  • Different rules per AI client
  • Approvals from the dashboard or your inbox
Audit

Every call, in plain language

A complete, searchable log of every action any AI took across the team — summarized in sentences, not JSON, with daily digests to your inbox.

  • Searchable team-wide log
  • Plain-language summaries
  • Daily email digest
Setup

One URL, every client

Engineers add a single URL to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude Code and get the team's servers with the team's rules. Onboarding is a link, not a wiki page.

  • Works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor & VS Code
  • Same rules in every client
  • Nothing to host or maintain
How it works

From zero to governed in an afternoon

01

Connect your stack

Jira, Linear, Sentry, Notion and more from the verified directory — GitHub connects with a token.

02

Invite the team

By email, with roles. Everyone connects their AI clients to the same gateway URL.

03

Set the rules

Reads allowed, writes ask first, deletes blocked — or whatever fits your risk appetite.

04

Stay in the loop

The activity log and daily digests show exactly what AI did for whom. No surprises.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Which team tools work with gate?

The verified directory includes Atlassian (Jira & Confluence), Linear, Sentry, Notion, Stripe, Supabase, PostHog and more — each connected once for the whole team. GitHub connects with a personal access token. Anything else that speaks MCP connects by URL.

How is this different from every engineer connecting servers directly?

Capability-wise it's the same tools. The difference is control: access via roles instead of scattered personal tokens, policies on sensitive actions, one audit log, and offboarding that actually removes access.

Does it work with Claude Code?

Yes. Claude Code speaks MCP, so one gateway URL brings the team's servers and rules into the terminal too — same setup as Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor.

What does the Team plan cost?

Team is €199/month flat: roles, per-team server access, policies, and the shared audit log. You can start free and upgrade when you invite the team.

Do engineers lose capabilities?

No — they gain a safer default. The same tools work in the same clients; the difference is that risky actions can require an approval instead of happening silently.
